Communal Tent
Tea is always available for free, please help yourself. If this needs to be replenished,
please mention this to a member of staff.
The times for breakfast, dinner, sunrise & sunset are written on the whiteboard.
After eating, please put dirty plates on the wooden rack to the left of the kitchen
window.
Please do not smoke in the food and tea tent while other people are eating.
If you would like to turn on the gas heater, please ask a member of staff.
- Breakfast is served from 8:00-10:00am.
- Dinner is served between 7:30/8:00pm.
Camp Tents
Please put all toilet paper & hygiene products into the bin, NOT down the toilet.
In some tent bathrooms there is a circular cap/plug covering the shower drain, this
must be removed before taking a shower otherwise the bathroom can flood.
Please ensure that the bathroom fan is turned on before showing to help with
ventilation.
The kerosene burner in some of the rooms can be used for heating if needed.
Desert Safety
The sunlight in the desert in intense, make sure you always have sunscreen, a hat
and plenty of water before embarking on any desert activity.
If you decide to venture outside of the camp, please let a member of staff know
where you are going beforehand in case of emergencies.
Activities
At Rum Crown we have a campfire every night after dinner. Please feel free to join!
The tours and activities page includes details of all available desert activities and
adventures. Please enquire with a member of our staff to book.
Check Out
- Check out is at 12:30pm.
Please leave your key in the door.
If you need to store your bags past this time, please let us know and we can store
them for you.
Feel free to use the communal tent until your time of departure.
